Using advanced virtual prototyping tools, a computer mockup of the simulator/ training device is constructed, including room layout, dome type, projector location and other important details. If a multiple projector setup is required, this mockup includes display coverage of each projector with edge-blend regions. Computer prototyping provides key attributes including, optimal screen shape and size, projector layout and resolution, and optimal eye point position. Services include import of 3d models of existing simulator displays and devices to create a total virtual design.
